Contacts tab missing in new Teams

I installed the new Teams and now I can't find my contacts list.

When I am in the call menu, there was a tab with all my contacts. This is now missing.

Please see the attached image.

True, I think people would be more like the old contacts tab (as opposed to dropdown) that I missed, except for two things:

(1) It isn't automatically there, and in some configurations is not pin-able.

(2) It does not immediately show you everyone's status.

I do like the way it shows multiple categories at once, and does not require as much scrolling.

It isn't a fully featured like for like replacement unfortunately - have a look at others comments here (if you are interested). It is a very poor replacement for something that was useful.

Select the 3 dots on the left horozontal column and search for People. You can now see all your contacts
