Contacts tab missing in new Teams

Hi

I installed the new Teams and now I can't find my contacts list.

When I am in the call menu, there was a tab with all my contacts. This is now missing.

Please see the attached image.

    The new version of Teams should have the contacts shown in the chat drop-down menu, just like the old version. Plus, it would be nice to see your contacts' status as well. It's a chore to look for your contacts now. I'm sticking with the old version until this "hopefully" gets fixed.

    Totally agree with Chris this feature is so important. when working remotely, kind of make you feel closer to your team and other teams in the organization

    Thanks Graham, I do know the People app, and although it remembers my categories (departments), it doesn't show the status of the people in the department. This is very handy in the Contacts list as I work with a lot of different departments and I can see immediately who is available which makes me gain a lot of time. Sending messages to people that are not available is really a waste of time, theirs and mine.

    To see the contacts you can view people, it looks different but has the same categories created in the old teams. I found it under Calls and View Contacts in the top right of this page.
