Contacts tab missing in new Teams

Hi

I installed the new Teams and now I can't find my contacts list.

When I am in the call menu, there was a tab with all my contacts. This is now missing.

Please see the attached image.

    Look again. The People app has finally been updated to deliver the same functionality as the original function. This thread could actually be closed since the issue is finally solved.

    Workarounds are not as productive as the Contacts feature. My vote is to restore Contacts to the new Teams.

    Unfortunately, it cannot be pinned in my environment. It appears to be connected to several handpicked apps which are pinned by default. Unfortunately, no-one seems to know how this happened.

    FYI - I opened the new Teams again and it looks like the People App can now be docked on the left side and stays. The status indicator for each contact has also been added to the People App. I have been running it for week and will continue to do so.
