Organize chats

I'd like to group chats together, not people.

I know this has been asked before, but the solution provided is not working anymore.

I get both personal chat messages and group chats chat messages from several hundred people and would like to categorize them to find, e.g. all messages from a certain group. I found that I can make Contact Groups, which means I can group several contacts into one group, but I cannot add "group chats" to such a contact group. How do I do this? thanks.

    I would like to group certain meetings into one meeting group, then pin that group later reference. This way the meeting group will become bold when there is a change and/or update.

    I would also like to group certain portions of conversation from different chats (threads) into one group conversation topic. I would really be slick as to take portions of a conversation from one or two individual (different threads) and add them to a group regarding that topic. See below.

    Chat A

    **** Topic 1A

    Topic 2A

    Topic 3A

    Chat B

    Topic 1B

    Topic 2B

    Topic 3B

    Group topic

    Topic 1B

    Topic 2A and 3A

    This really needs to be looked into.

    The ability to "group" chats in the Chat window rather than just pin up to 15 chats would improve working with Teams

    Bumping this... the ability to "group" chats in the Chat window rather than just pin up to 15 chats would improve my Teams experience tenfold.

    It is surprising Teams would lack this extremely basic functionality!

    The "Teams" tab is very useful but, in my organization, it's used for messaging teams. I just want to organize chats.
