Organize chats

I'd like to group chats together, not people.

I know this has been asked before, but the solution provided is not working anymore.

I get both personal chat messages and group chats chat messages from several hundred people and would like to categorize them to find, e.g. all messages from a certain group. I found that I can make Contact Groups, which means I can group several contacts into one group, but I cannot add "group chats" to such a contact group. How do I do this? thanks.

    Microsoft. Seriously. This is getting embarrassing. I have seen this requested for years. How? Even the least tech-savvy users of Teams notice this is missing. It is such a basic thing. Just let us edit / add additional categories for the chats. Please hurry.

    being limited to only 15 and not having the option to create croups that chats can pinned to is the problem. The options available are far to limiting. with hundreds of people and projects to interact with. creating a group called IT or Admin, Engineering, Drafters... etc. then pinning chats in the group desired. Its frustrating and exactly why I hear so many people expressing their dislike of teams.

    A similar problem. I have many different chats with various colleagues. It would be convenient to have the ability to group them into folders or categories.

    Agree! need to have a "chat" channel in Teams so we don't have to flip between

    I have the latest version of teams:

    Version **You have Microsoft Teams version 24215.1007.3082.1590.****You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 05/09/2024.**The client version is 49/24080212008.
    ****A feature to colour chats does not exist.
