Except that only the people who did NOT want those things were submitting that feedback. Why would those of us that were happy with how it worked submit feedback. But instead of making it an option or giving those people a work around, Microsoft completely changed how it worked so that the rest of us are SOL. The Forward feature works fine for a single message but not multiple. The Export API is overkill as it will give you the entire chat history. The other workaround of keeping the mouse button down after selecting while pressing CTRL+C kind of works but adds a lot of extra **** that must be cleaned up. We know they aren't going to put it back the way it was, but they still need to FIX it by making it an option in settings or an additional right-click option. We must now be the ones to leave feedback.

The old teams still has the working copy and paste with timestamps. At least for me it says it only has 28 days of life left so this is only a short term solution.

Comparing to the old Teams, this is a bug for new. Pls fix it.

Across the Windows platform, there is nowhere else requesting the users to hold the mouse for selection and then CTRL+C to copy whatever needed. The behavior here is very strange.

Many users at our organisation are having the same issue with Ctrl C and Ctrl V not copying the Teams message with the sender, date and time details. The holding of the mouse button whilst selecting Ctrl C and then Pasting with Ctrl V does capture this information, but it is in one long text string that requires editing to make it a readable format.

Please can you look to getting this fixed asap as this is an important feature that is obviously required
