I am not able to copy and paste Teams message with Time and sender name. I was able to do it a week ago. I want to copy text with time and sender name. same issue on both Desktop and web version

    Thanks for pointing at "and hold", because I have read some other explanations talking about [Alt] button.
    Click and hold while pressing [Ctrl]-[C] works as before, I confirm.

    Well, not exactly like before, like Sawyer-855 pointed out. It grabs more extra stuff that has to be cleaned up.

    I did find that if you just need one message with the sender and timestamp, clicking Forward under the three dot menu for the post pops up a box that allows easy copying of the text with the name and time info.

    Still MS needs to fix this and make it like nearly every other app out there, allow everything to be selected and then copy what is selected. If only the text is selected, only copy the text. If the sender and time are also selected, copy it all. And don't magically include what you think we might want. We know what we want.

    Copy that, Kevin. :) Actually, copy/paste that. Except not like before. Hopefully that will change soon. Egregious UX oversight.
