I am not able to copy and paste Teams message with Time and sender name. I was able to do it a week ago. I want to copy text with time and sender name. same issue on both Desktop and web version

Seven months later this is still an issue. My previous workaround also stopped working as of this week. This is an increasingly frustrating issue, especially since copy/pasting conversations into other notes is a significant part of my workflows. Please fix this.
That worked for awhile, but it stopped working with the latest software update our organization implemented. It is very frustrating! MS has never been good about testing their software. Customers deserve better than this and unfortunately, MS has made it an industry standard to release **** and wreak havoc on their customers lives until they get it fixed in a patch. Often they never get it fixed. Grrrrr

LOL this still doesn't work in April 2025. I believe this issue has been around for couple of years now and MS is notoriously ignoring this. Unbelievable.
I use the Power Toys Text Extractor Win+Shift+T I believe that the some admins turn off the ability to keep Time Stamps for regulatory purposes, so keep that in mind.
