I can no longer copy and paste the chat nor save the chat's date/time. Cntrl C and Cntrl V isn't working either.

Glad to know that it assists a bit and gives some ideas :)

and for whatever reason my teams post the time below regardless of who Person 1/2 is i had to change P52

I think I know why, perhaps you are using Compact Chat Density? (Settings > Chats and Channels > Chat > Message Density > Compact)

I tested in mine with compact and when I copy it does place the time at the bottom of the name for both the Person1 & 2.. I did not realize that before.

Yes I can copy the actual conversation. I just need it to also pick up the information about who wrote the direct message dialog and when. It used to get captured with a simple copy. Once that broke, I found this chat and tried a suggestion that had worked for awhile, but now the work around doesn't work. I copy conversations to include in tickets I am working for my job. I want to record exactly when the conversation happened and who was involved. I now have to add that information myself and it is time consuming. It is frustrating.

Does it extract text from the full Teams chat thread or whatever it can capture on the screen and then you can to continue to scroll and capture?
