I am not able to copy and paste Teams message with Time and sender name. I was able to do it a week ago. I want to copy text with time and sender name. same issue on both Desktop and web version

    With old Teams I used CTRL-C and CTRL-V as you say.
    With the NEW Teams it takes the text, but it misses sender and date/time.

    UPDATE :
    Select with mouse and hold the mouse button while pressing [Ctrl]-[C] to copy, and it works as with the previous Teams! Many thanks at BrutNTX for the explanation.
    But strange thing is that after this copy often the text is pasted 2x...

    This doesn't work well at all either though. It gets this weird formatting that is not usable for a straight copy paste, It pastes a preview of the message along with the entire message. I still have to do a bunch of editing. This is a garbage upgrade and needs to be fixed. The masses of people who copy paste are not using it for coding, that is an edge case and should not be the main focus of programming.

    Agree, what an absolute oversight to not have this option anymore. Extremely important when logging Teams correspondence.

    In New Teams, this option does not work.
    Having the time and date stamps in addition to the names of the people chatting is imperative.

    I've seen this same pasting results far into the past sometimes and think this latest change just brought it fully to the forefront.

    It's as if there is no QA to these changes as any little testing should make this obviously an unacceptable solution.
