I am often working in other windows but have a lot of teams messages that I need to address. This results in my sending meaningless messages accidentally when I hit ENTER thinking I am in a different window but I am really in teams. How do I by default prevent the ENTER button from sending a message?

These lines in the script:
; Shift+Enter becomes Enter
+Enter:: {
Send "{Enter}"
}
#HotIf
means that Hotkey from "+Enter" can change to anything you like. "Enter" key on its own will only give you a line feed.
how many people does it take to highlight this bug before MS will fix it?
It is a typical example of how Microsoft bullies its customers. There was no reason to remove the option, and the default send operation was a nuisance to begin with, but Microsoft wanted to pretend this is an instant massaging application.
