Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

Not a general solution, the old Teams don't work at my work anymore. M$ must allow us to turn the annoying "hints" off. As any other company does.

For my use cases, the new Teams is clearly worse than the old one. I could grumpily accept that there is no longer a way to be notified when a colleague becomes available again, but the self-adulations from Teams distracting me at the worst moments are too much. The next one will result in me switching back and hoping the forced switch to the new Teams will be a long way off.

Instead of fancy features that need to be marketed aggressively, how about fixing the real problems, like the missing export for several posts from chats? I could even live with the workaround available for channel conversations (i.e., share to Outlook).

As EVERYONE ELSE who is using this have noted, this is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I am trying to do critical work and these stupid things pop-up MULTIPLE TIMES, blocking features I am trying to use and forcing me to take time to dismiss them (unread).

fully agree, Microsoft needs to provide a user control for every feature and function that teams provide so we can decide what is best for each of us as individuals.

Amen. This is the biggest time waster and it's annoying. It serves no useful function except to waste time.
