How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

Well said. The annoyance is one thing. The indifference and lack of a response is another. MS ... because we have to not because we want to.
I am in agreeance with the others, that there needs to be a way to disable these. We are already using your app, you don't need to sell it to us with added useless features to most. I think it's unnecessary, and distracting at best, which I'm sure was the point given that it's Microsoft.
I despise MS teams because of its unwanted popups, but it is the primary chat and video communication tool provided by my company. It is obvious to me that Microsoft does not care what the user community wishes, because this problem persists at least a year and a half after the OP's initial request.
The new Teams feature ads stopped, but the small popups in all of the Office apps are driving me crazy. Why is it that every time MS makes a change, they make things worse for people who actually know what they are doing? Have a setting that allows us to mark ALL Office apps at once with something like "I've been using this software for over 20 years and I don't need to know how to save a document or enter a formula so please stop with the bs."
There are so many features that don't work properly or should be changed in MS apps and I just want to say that if I ever get a job in the MS UI/UX team, I will unfurl a list reminiscent of Santa with that of naughty children.
Please focus at least a bit on your professional, experienced users. MS could be user friendly for all levels with very little adaptation.
Totally agree! And better, MS, just stop building all these very annoying popups in the application. If you want to advertise all these "amaizing" features that everyone is not waiting for, create a What's New website. We will read it when we feel like it.
