Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

Turning off Microsoft Teams pop-ups alerts Here’s how to hide banner desktop alerts in Teams:

Open Microsoft Teams desktop or web client. Hit your user icon on the right-hand side of your upper Teams bar. Then, hit Manage Account to open your Teams Settings. From the left-hand side of your Settings dialogue, select Notifications. Then, hit the Custom button.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately this does not address the issue of concern.

The popups I am referring to are advertisements by MS for new Teams features, similar to the screenshot attached (from https://office365itpros.com/2023/10/13/irritating-teams-pop-ups/). They block the UI and are disruptive to an efficient workflow.

I have tried to disable all notifications, but they still appear.

I'm sorry about the pop-ups in Microsoft Teams. They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled. However, you can provide feedback to Microsoft through the Teams app and keep your Teams application up-to-date for better management of such announcements. If the pop-ups continue to be a significant disruption, reach out to your organization's IT department for help they might have policies or tools in place that could help manage these type of interruptions.

This needs to be fixed. It is unacceptable that Microsoft removed so many customization settings in the "new and improved" teams like this. I DO NOT WANT 'TIPS' and POPUPS for new features or suggestions I don't care about. Every time the new teams starts, it is telling me about **** I don't care and don't want. And even while using, it is popping up tips while I am trying to do other things and interrupting the workflow.

This is nothing about our local IT organization. It is 100% Microsoft forcing these features with no way to customize the settings.

Just like the new chat popups are in the wrong place on the screen with no way to correct/move it to a different spot. So I had to entirely disable chat and notifications or they keep showing up 1/3 of the way up my display instead of in the bottom right corner.

I am in agreement - this stuff is terrible and needs to go. This is an enterprise level application my company is paying a lot of money for. I don't want to see Microsoft garbage constantly popping up while I'm trying to do my job. It's distracting and ruins my productivity.
