How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

If the pop-ups continue to be a significant disruption, reach out to your organization's IT department for help they might have policies or tools in place that could help manage these type of interruptions

Agreed. Microsoft's marketing has way too much impact on their products and productivity. Again, if MS would focus less on "new features" and more on fixing current issues, it would be a better approach for us all.
They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled.
This approach is unacceptable. If you want to highlight new features, do it in a single popup that appears only after an update, or upon switching to the new version. The popups are incredibly disruptive.
Thank you for your reply. I had forgotten how annoying Clippy was. To your point, at least we could disable that "feature". The "new" Teams, the "new" Outlook ... huge steps backward. Microsoft needs to stop focusing on new "features" and fix the versions that are currently in place. Congrats once again Microsoft!
It's the same faux-"helpful" type of experience as Clippy; not actually helpful at all in my own purely personal opinion, but just annoying. And this time, you can't turn it off. You would think Microsoft might have learned from that experience, but no. We just want to use the software, not have it nattering at us about every change that Microsoft thinks we might want to hear about. The documentation is out there to look up if we need to, at a time when it won't interrupt our work.
