How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

I refuse to use the "New Teams" **** for this very reason! If I buy software I don't want to have to endure crappy commercials. This isn't shareware! M$ fix this hideous bug asap!
They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled.
This is not acceptable. This needs to be changed ASAP.
However something I find mildly amusing is that with the new Teams MS managed to make the actual mattering notifications not work 50% of the time but yet managed to add workflow interrupting and completely annoying popup notifications nobody uses or wants, that work 200% of the time.

However, you can provide feedback to Microsoft through the Teams app and keep your Teams application up-to-date for better management of such announcements. If it cannot be disabled why should I contact my organization's IT department? What do you mean, "they might have policies or tools that could help"? Does Teams have any hidden features which can be controlled through "policies" or "tools" available only to IT? If not, this reply is completely useless.
Anyway, these pop-ups should be disabled, as they interrupt my work, affect my productivity and are simply annoying. It looks like the same happens with another Microsoft products, i.e. Edge, Office.
Oh, Microsoft, you've outdone yourself with the "new and improved" Teams – improved my foot! Removing customization settings? Are you trying to set a record for the most eye rolls? I'm drowning in unwanted 'tips' and popups like I'm at a bad magic show. Abracadabra, I don't care!
Every time Teams starts, it's like a friend who won't stop talking about their vacation – I never asked, and I'm not interested! And during work, these popups are the party crashers of my workflow. Can't we just send them to voicemail?
And the chat popups? It's like they're playing hide and seek on my screen – in all the wrong places. I had to disable chat and notifications because they were staging a rebellion 1/3 of the way up my display. Not cool, Microsoft. I didn't sign up for a surprise party – fix this tech circus, pronto! 🎩✨
I think the worst thing about these pop ups is that I've been getting one a day since Teams was updated... New "feature" each time. No ability to turn off.

If you need to highlight new features a single pop up after update would do. How many more days of this nonsense?
