How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

Maybe you still get a Nokia phone...? That would probably be the best solution for your needs.
I would also like to vote to be able to turn off the educational nag messages. Much like Clippy and the hideous XP yellow dog, they are really annoying. The dismiss button on the dialgue cards should include 'never show again'
For what it's worth (and I know Microsoft doesn't give a damn about individual users), I hate Teams. Hate it with a passion. It is NOT a production tool, it's a farce. The constant messaging, nagging, pop-ups, "aren't we great" messages ... y'all need a shrink if you need this much continual praise.
The "new" Teams, which I briefly looked at before having my eyes replaced, is a grey wash-out of dullness. And what's with constantly making the interface font smaller? Give us a break!
I want three things from software: robustness, reliability, and security. Can't say I've found those things yet.
The problem with "after every update" is that this is the "new normal." Every launch is an update. Oh look, they've added more emojis! Meanwhile, I'm searching for something I know came in a couple of days ago and Teams can't find it.
