Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

    I know that writing a post here probably won't solve anything, but I am just so annoyed by these unwanted, useless, distracting popups. Microsoft tried this approach in the past with their Clippy and failed miserably. How dumb do you have to be to try and go this route again.

    My job is not to play around with and explore your software. My job is to do my work and your software is just a tool I use for that purpose. Just imagine yourself trying to use a hammer and before you grab it an annoying salesman pops up and starts explaining how awesome his hammers are. Cool, dude, I get it. Now get the **** out of my garage.

    Hi TroyJack, I'm sorry about the pop-ups in Microsoft Teams. They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled. However, you can provide feedback to Microsoft through the Teams app and keep your Teams application up-to-date for better management of such announcements. If the pop-ups continue to be a significant disruption, reach out to your organization's IT department for help they might have policies or tools in place that could help manage these type of interruptions.     Thank you for your comments on this, but I agree with the majority of replies here it is not acceptable to have my workflow interrupted by unwanted pop-ups which cannot be turned off. This certainly is NOT an issue to be addressed with my company IT department but something Microsoft has to fix.

    Maybe you still get a Nokia phone...? That would probably be the best solution for your needs.

    Mmmkay... How would that help with a desktop app?
