Using Microsoft Teams on macOS, including installation, features, and compatibility
These pop ups suck. Just like the entire Teams program.

How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

Now Microsoft is adding their own Adware to Windows 11 when is this bloat going to end?
It's doing it in My Teams for Mac and this Mac doesn't even run a high enough OS to run New Teams..... but it still pops up and sits there like an unwanted child.........
MS, you're not withdrawing Classic Teams until July so please p is s off.
I couldn't agree more, it's completely disruptive. We share screen allot which is why I always had the pop ups turned off previously. The fact that Microsoft is overriding all users who previously had that feature turned off is rude. Folks your presenting to should not be able to see your private msgs coming in. Nevermind the complete distribution to my daily work of it popping up over my work. I'll be reverting back to the old version until this feature is customizable.
I agree with the various comment posted here. These pop-ups are infuriating, get in my way and interrupt my productivity. To make matters worse, they have annoyed me sufficiently to raise it as a complaint within my organisation, who then said "Nothing we can do, its Microsoft, but, hey have a look at this", with a link to this thread. SO I've now wasted more time reading other peoples complaints and getting more annoyed about the issue. That you for that MS
