Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

How do I disable ALL popups that announce new features in Teams. You know, the ones with the cheap clipart drawings and redundant announcements. It is infuriating when I am trying to send a message to a colleague and interrupted by a random popup telling me to try a new feature that I'm already aware of and is absolutely useless to me. It hijacks my typing and it's got to go.

It's the same faux-"helpful" type of experience as Clippy; not actually helpful at all in my own purely personal opinion, but just annoying. And this time, you can't turn it off. You would think Microsoft might have learned from that experience, but no. We just want to use the software, not have it nattering at us about every change that Microsoft thinks we might want to hear about. The documentation is out there to look up if we need to, at a time when it won't interrupt our work.

@Jason_700 Well said. MS and their BS "features" are annoying at best and counterproductive at worst. It;s always one step forward then two steps backward.

I wish someone from Microsoft would actually pay attention to these forums. Instead of listening to USERS, we're flooded with these garbage tips that are grossly unhelpful CONTINUOUSLY pop-up the same drivel, while the product quality is dropping like a rock.

On meetings, Teams (and Teams ONLY, other conference apps don't have this) has my microphone volume so low I need to use my phone. And Outlook REFUSES to use my recognize my selected account as default no matter what I do. instead, we get these cutesy annoying "tips"...

This new policy seems to address this issue

Doesn't really address this issue for end users if it requires admin policy intervention

These "feature announcements" that can't be disabled are EXTREMELY irritating. Our company recently enforced the transition to New Teams, and ever since then, I have had a parade of several of these notifications popping up randomly each day, usually when I'm trying to do something else. Microsoft hasn't done something so irritating since Clippy.
