Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

Hi TroyJack, I'm sorry about the pop-ups in Microsoft Teams. They are feature announcements and cannot be disabled. However, you can provide feedback to Microsoft through the Teams app and keep your Teams application up-to-date for better management of such announcements. If the pop-ups continue to be a significant disruption, reach out to your organization's IT department for help they might have policies or tools in place that could help manage these type of interruptions. If it cannot be disabled why should I contact my organization's IT department? What do you mean, "they might have policies or tools that could help"? Does Teams have any hidden features which can be controlled through "policies" or "tools" available only to IT? If not, this reply is completely useless.

Anyway, these pop-ups should be disabled, as they interrupt my work, affect my productivity and are simply annoying. It looks like the same happens with another Microsoft products, i.e. Edge, Office.

This is not acceptable. This needs to be changed ASAP.

However something I find mildly amusing is that with the new Teams MS managed to make the actual mattering notifications not work 50% of the time but yet managed to add workflow interrupting and completely annoying popup notifications nobody uses or wants, that work 200% of the time.

I refuse to use the "New Teams" **** for this very reason! If I buy software I don't want to have to endure crappy commercials. This isn't shareware! M$ fix this hideous bug asap!

Anyone remember "Clippy", that crappy help cartoon that MS included in every help dialog back in the day? This is another form of the same. If I need help I'll ask for it or navigate to the help dialog myself, I don't need someone looking out for my(their) wellbeing!

This really sucks and needs to go. I have no issue with being notified about new features with the very first start of the program after an update, and the option to disable such notifications, but the way it is now (such notifications showing up each and every time, now since several weeks) is just inacceptable.
