Displaying your screen content to others during a Teams meeting or call for collaboration
Green Artifacts When Viewing Shared Screens in Teams
We have a few users who have been seeing green artifacts during Teams Meetings. This will happen at the same time that someone is presenting.
Specs of Laptop:
Dell Latitude 5550
Intel Core Ultra 5 135U vPro
Intel Iris Xe Graphics
32GB RAM
512GB SSD
Things we have tried to remedy this:
- Run Teams in Compatibility mode
- Update to the newest Intel Arc/Iris Xe Driver
- Update to a different Intel WHQL Arc/Iris Xe Driver
- Uninstall and Reinstall Teams
- Tried using Teams in the browser
Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks!

2025-02-20T16:32:37+00:00 Awesome news, thank you! Interesting that is was a backend fix and not a driver fix, either way glad it is resolved. We will do testing today to verify it works for us.

2025-02-20T09:11:09+00:00 As of my information I got today from Microsoft Support, this problem is now finally solved.
Original Information from Microsoft:
I'm pleased to inform you that a fix was recently deployed. This was handled directly by our Product Group, and it has been confirmed that the issue is fully resolved.Current Status: We suspect that the impact was caused by a recent update to a specific third-party driver, which led to some users experiencing a green screen during Microsoft Teams meetings. We deployed a configuration change to bypass the impacted drivers, and we now have confirmation that this change has resolved the issue.
Final Status: The investigation is complete, and we have confirmed that the issue was caused by a specific third-party driver update. Our fix has resolved this, and this communication will expire in 72 hours.
This is the final update for the event.
We concur that the issue should no longer exist, as you had affirmed from your boss. Therefore, I believe that the remote session might not be necessary, and I am quite confident that it won’t occur again.
-> It was fixed by the backend Infrastructure thus our Product Group. So no Update required on an End-Device for this issue.
My customer did not face the issue in the last two days - so this time, I really hope it is finally fixed.
Please let me know if you are still facing the problem - or if it is also fixed for your environment - so everybody reading this thread finds the final answer. -
