Hello FrankDD,
I am glad that this worked for you. If you think this can help other people as well then please do share it. Of course I do not mind that.
But regarding the "solver" part. Just to be fair, technically there has been another user on page 2 who first mentioned this solution. Although we kind of overread that in the beginning and came to the same solution on our side with the help of Dell support by coincidence. I will leave the "solver" choice to you if you want to give credits.
Referring to this post from page 2 btw.:
Anyway, if this issue is (presumably) really only driver related then let's hope that it will get fixed at some point. It cannot (permanently) be the solution to stay on outdated driver versions.
Have a good weekend as well!

Following up on my previous reply to you, it has now been over a week, and the two people that were having the green blocky screen issue have reported it hasn't happened in over a week now!!! My final solution (at this point) was to follow your instructions, although I did have to locate the HP version of that driver #. It did NOT work on one computer without running the DDU program, although because this was a remote person, I was not able to run it in safe mode, it seems to have worked! What an annoyance this has been though. Thank you for your suggestion!!!
I have other postings on a few boards / forums where people are still having this issue. Are you okay with me posting your solution on other sites to assist people? I would list your name / handle to give you credit as the 'solver' using this method :)
Have a good weekend everyone!
Thanks for you detailed explanation. I tried it on one of the computers that the user is having this issue quite often. Unfortunately, right after doing this, the computer started shutting down in the middle of Teams calls
ANYWAY, after her crashes and computer slowdowns, putting the driver you suggested on (we had to find our own non-dell one, we located that particular version# on HP's FTP site), having her computer crash / shutdown, I DID run the DDU program (albeit not in safe mode) and reinstall the driver version you suggested. It has been two days now and she hasn't had the crashes or green-screen issue. HOPEFULLY this helps.
I think it's absurd we have to go back umpteen driver versions to fix this problem ... who knows WHAT positive things were in all those updates in between then and now.
But for now, it SEEMS to be working for a couple days at least. Thanks for your suggestions!
Has Intel not yet come up with any official statement that they are working on this?
We have 80 brand new Dell Latitude 5450 laptops that are behaving like this.
I am amazed that this post is created in beginning of January and now when may is almost over it is still happening. Why has intel not fixed this yet?
