Green Artifacts When Viewing Shared Screens in Teams

Checking in to report this is still somehow an issue 6 months later, on a Dell Latitude 5550 I was given for work. After this happens it almost always overheats and crashes. I'd really like an official fix as this is a company device and despite being IT, I still have to have our IT apply things like DDU and new drivers due to company property policies, and I am on the other side of the continent from my team so our overlap is an hour or two a day,

I would also think that, except when the issue started happening here with these two employees, their computers HAD the .5736 version on them, so the green screen issue was occurring for them with that particular driver. However, now that I've gone through your steps, and even though they have now reverted back to that original .5736 driver, they don't seem to be having the issues anymore. I'm just guessing something in the whole process 'cleaned something out.'

Why is it again that we CHOSE to spend our lives working on computers? LOL 🤣

Well, regarding this I believe that probably every Intel Graphics driver with version 32.0.101.6078 or below works without issues.

The reason is that one of the earliest (similar) issue reports we found is from Nov 21, 2024. We mentioned this in our post on page 2. The issue probably first appeared with a driver version around this date. Although, just to be clear, this is only conjecture on our side. Might be wrong as well.

Good to know... thanks! Let's hope this either gets fixed permanently soon through an update, or this 'patch' works for a long time!

One more follow up... just checked the two employee's computers, and either Windows or the HP Update Software has replaced the Intel .6078 version with the highest version HP has, which is .5763 at this point, HOWEVER, they say they still aren't having any green screen issues. SO, perhaps the process of using DDU (which I did use before and installed the latest Intel drivers afterwards) AND going to the .6078 driver cleans something out.

I was surprised to see the HPs backtracked to the .5763 driver, but everything seems to be working now. Hope it holds.

But others are right also, this needs a PERMANENT fix from Intel or Microsoft... one of the two.
