Green Artifacts When Viewing Shared Screens in Teams

We have a few users who have been seeing green artifacts during Teams Meetings. This will happen at the same time that someone is presenting.

Specs of Laptop:

Dell Latitude 5550

Intel Core Ultra 5 135U vPro

Intel Iris Xe Graphics

32GB RAM

512GB SSD

Things we have tried to remedy this:

  1. Run Teams in Compatibility mode
  2. Update to the newest Intel Arc/Iris Xe Driver
  3. Update to a different Intel WHQL Arc/Iris Xe Driver
  4. Uninstall and Reinstall Teams
  5. Tried using Teams in the browser

Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks!

We experienced the same thing on about 15-20 HP Zbook firefly G11 laptops I had opened a case with HP and tried the usually steps of drivers all the way to reimaging the laptop. after none of the above fixed the issue, I opened a ticket with Microsoft Teams and after troubleshooting and sending them logs and examples, roughly 2 weeks later they came back and said they repaired a 3rd party driver in their systems. I have not had the issue since

    (Knock on wood).

    Hi Martin,

I´m assuming your use of MS Teams was a kind of broadcast.

In my case it is just daily regular use with meetings and quick calls. Since MS Teams is the official company software, I don´t believe we are going to change it.

Other than that, this is only happening on a certain model of laptops (Dell Latitude 7450 Core Ultra 7 165U + 32GB RAM). My previous laptop (Dell Latitude with Core i5) didn´t have such issue. Moreover, the issue is also happening in videos such as youtube.

There´s something wrong with this Intel platform, that´s the only thing that I can imagine as a reason.

After read your post I thought the nightmare came to an end, but this didn't work.

The only difference now is that artefacts are not only green, but multicolor and the MS Teams terrible performance stills.

Getting tired of all this issues.

I am having the exact same issue.

    For this example:

It's only happening on his laptop, not his iPad or iPhone.

It only happens when a participant presents their screen.

In addition to the blocky green screen, the remaining participant video is choppy.

This is happening regardless of being on the dock or not.

All driver and firmware updates have been implemented.
