Teams documentation[1] has instructions for turning off notifications for a specific conversation.
I have been using this feature for years without issue.
As of several weeks ago, I no longer have this option when I open the dropdown menu for a post.
Has the feature been removed, or moved somewhere else?

I've found turning off reply notifications to posts in channels, where you don't want to get a notification for every response to the post, helps reduce the distractions. And for multi-user chats, now you can click the 'Mute' optioni under the three dots menu!

I just found a new menu item to "Turn off all likes and reactions" for a single post. In the Activity tab, click the 3 dots menu on someone's reaction to your post and you'll find this menu item. I do not see this on the menu for the post itself nor on other people's posts in the same channel. This is not easy to find and does not apply to all posts, just ones authored by you. Also, because it's only in the Activity tab, you'll have to wait until someone reacts to your post. According to the wording of the menu item, it sounds like it wouldn't apply to replies.
I'm running the app, version 24060.2623.2790.8046, on Windows 10.
Absolutely incredible that this hasn't been fixed yet. Yet another example of how much Microsoft hates its users.

Just switched to the new Teams and encountered this issue.
Our use case is that there is a team with a "General" channel where a daily post is made from a manager/executive containing a distinct get-to-know-you type of question. Then all team members reply to that post with a status update on their tasks and a response to the question. I want to receive notifications that a post has been made in that channel, but I don't want to be dinged with a notification every time somebody else in the organization comments a reply to that post (unless they specifically @mention me).
Even if you globally disable the channel notifications to include only mentions, it only hides the "reply" notifications up until you decide to reply as well, after which you then receive all "reply" notifications after that. Previously, if you toggled on the "Disable notifications for this post" after replying yourself, then you stopped receiving the subsequent "reply" notifications. That option is now unavailable.
