No option to turn off notifications for a single post

Adding my voice to the chorus chanting "bring back Turn Off Notifications" for all conversations and chats.

I am adding my name to the list. Thanks Keith for the writeup. You summarized this specific problem perfectly. I cannot understand why this feature would be taken away. This leads to constantly getting unnecessary updates and missing out on the ones you need because you cannot edit anything but channels vs. posts.

It is important that I get notifications in general, but I DO NOT need to get dozens of audio, visual, and email alerts for people replying to a happy birthday conversation!

The ability to silence notifications on a case-by-case basis is a critical feature.

This is so annoying I just stopped replying to all channel posts to avoid getting notifications for all following replies...

It is ridiculous that not only was this feature removed without warning, but not a single MS employee or support team member seems to know why or how, or will even fully acknowledge that this was taken out by Microsoft and isn't a new "feature" of "new" Teams. Not that it matters which Teams you're using anymore, as apparently the channel features from new Teams have been crowbarred into old teams with recent updates so now this option gone everywhere except the iOS app, which still shows the button but only the option to "Turn On Notifications":

Selecting the button does nothing. How is it possible that the team working on the mobile app clearly had no idea this feature was going away? It is like every different version of teams is being built by completely separate companies that refuse to communicate with each other.

This is unacceptable behavior for a flagship product of one of the biggest tech companies in existence; this is a critical feature as many others have said in this thread and we need some answers and a timeline on it's re-implementation ASAP Microsoft!

I also am really disappointed with introducing this regression - it was an important feature to turn off notifications for replies to single posts. Now I am constantly getting spammed by replies. I hope someone can finally see this thread and accept the fact they had introduced a regression in the new version.
