Teams documentation[1] has instructions for turning off notifications for a specific conversation.
I have been using this feature for years without issue.
As of several weeks ago, I no longer have this option when I open the dropdown menu for a post.
Has the feature been removed, or moved somewhere else?

Bring back Turn Off Notifications for individual posts!!!!!!
In my case it literally disappeared today, 11th of November 2023 with the Version 1.6.00.28557 (64-bit)
I remember the days when this option was available on the mobile app too. Wish it would be available again there!
Adding my voice to the chorus chanting "bring back Turn Off Notifications" for all conversations and chats.
It is important that I get notifications in general, but I DO NOT need to get dozens of audio, visual, and email alerts for people replying to a happy birthday conversation!
The ability to silence notifications on a case-by-case basis is a critical feature.
I also noticed this disappear in the last few weeks. 1.6.00.27573 (64-bit) no longer has the ability to turn off notifications on desktop client (or in web browser) for individual posts in the channel. It is infuriating to lose a critical feature like this, so please Microsoft, bring it back ASAP.
Hi @Abey El-Sayed - thanks for clarifying that. We didn't see the version mentioned in this thread so assumed we were on the newest version. However, we're using the GCC which is one version behind the public cloud. We'd like to see this feature returned as well if it's absent in 1.6.00.26474.
We thought the "Turn off notifications" wasn't working for posts as well. However, it does appear to be there for Teams channel posts. We were actually looking at a group chat and trying to turn off notifications for what we initially thought was a channel post. We ended up using the option to leave the group chat to resolve the notification spamming from a bunch of posts to that group chat. We're using Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.24078 (64-bit) desktop client (updated Sep 15, 2023).
I see, however, that this is the old Teams version, not the NEW one.
