Join button to add another device on windows teams app not working

When I get a call from someone, both my computer and my cell phone rings.

If I answer on the computer, I can go into the teams app on my phone and it will ask me if I want to join the call on the phone. This is works ok.

If I answer on the phone, teams asks me on my computer if I want to join on my computer as a second device and has a join button , but nothing happens when i click on it any more.(it used to last week)

I have made sure Teams updated on both devices (I have teams for business)

I have signed out of both devices and resigned in

I have rebooted the computer

Can someone help please?

    Hey all,

    I also started having this issue. I went through the troubleshooting steps and the join button in Teams on my workstation does not work. I'm on Teams version 1.6.00.1381 (64-bit) that was last updated on 2/13/2023. Something has definitely changed, maybe since the last update.

    Like others here are saying, this is definitely new. I have received reports from about 10 different users over the past couple of days with the same issue. They are fine joining on one device but when they try to join a second device, it will not let them.

    Same issue.

    Was working fine one week ago, now non functional

    1. Answer teams call on my phone
    2. On computer correcttly informs me that I am on a teams call on another device do I want to switch to the computer...click join
    3. Click Join and now nothing happens
    4. It used to do exactly what is shown here

    and worked fine

    1. Now nothing; completly dead and non functional

    And the issue is...?

    How to fix....??

    I've been having this same issue for about a week.

    If it's a Meeting, everything works as per usual

    If I start or answer a call on the Teams app on my phone then the Teams desktop application has the usual message that I'm on a call on another device do I want to join? I hit the Join button, it appears to be selected but nothing happens.

    If someone calls me and then we find that I need to see their screen we've been creating a Meeting to use.

    Clearly this is not my phone or laptop since it's started the same time as these others - was there a Teams update for the desktop app recently?
