Additional calendar-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for Education
Dear Nick Byrd PhD
Greetings!
Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community!
Based on your description, I understand your query about how to stop recipients responding to the email generated by a calendar invite.
To do this, when scheduling meetings in Teams, please kindly find Response options in tab and then untick Request responses like in below screenshot.
Meanwhile, you may also try to create a rule to automatically move event response messages to one specific folder. Please kindly follow below steps to create a server-side rule for your account via Outlook on the web.
- Sign into Outlook on the web.
- Go to Settings (Gear icon at top right) > Mail > Rules > Add new Rule
- Add the Conditon and Action like below screenshot. (You may also choose another action if you want to.)
- Click Save. (To make the rule possess existing meeting invitations, tick Run rule now before Save.)
For more instructions, please kindly refer to Use inbox rules in Outlook.com or Outlook on the web - Microsoft Support.
Please feel free to get back to us if I misunderstand you. Thank you in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!
