No chat notification sound after updating Teams to new version 23285.3809.2525.961 on Mac

Hi,
I have recently my Teams on Mac to new version "23285.3809.2525.961". Since the update, I am not getting any chat notification sound at all. I have checked all the relevent setting on micorosoft teams as well as in notification centre on Mac but no luck. Can anyone please help?

    Yeah it is really frustating. This is a basic functionality and microsoft is expected to fix it asap.

    I am having the same problem but on PC.
    New Teams updated, but no chat sound notifications.
    Seems this might be related to fact that my sound is via a Bluetooth Speaker but my MIC is via the laptop internal MIC.

    I have tried all of the suggestions found on web except buying a new Bluetooth speaker.
    For now I just leave my Android phone next to my laptop where I do get proper notifications.

    Here's how I fixed this:

    1. Go to Settings > Notifications and Activity > Notifications
    2. Turn OFF "Play Sound with Notifications" and "Play sound with incoming calls, request......"
    3. Quit Teams
    4. Relaunch Teams
    5. Turn ON "Play Sound with Notifications" and "Play sound with incoming calls, request......"
    6. Quit Teams
    7. Relaunch Teams.

    This has worked for me. Mac OS 14.1.1, MS Teams (for School, work) Version 23285.3809.2525.961

    Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, same is not working for me. I am also on "Mac OS 14.1.1, MS Teams (for School, work) Version 23285.3809.2525.961". Getting frustrated as days are passing. I may need to revert back to old Teams if do not get the solution soon.

    Same issue here for me on my Mac with the same version of Teams. Looks like it's time to downgrade...
