Hi,
I have recently my Teams on Mac to new version "23285.3809.2525.961". Since the update, I am not getting any chat notification sound at all. I have checked all the relevent setting on micorosoft teams as well as in notification centre on Mac but no luck. Can anyone please help?

I tried what you suggested as I am also having classic Teams now on my MAC (had to reinstall it when new Teams did not work) but it does not work for me unfortunately.
I'm not sure who will see this, but I figured out how to fix the problem on my Mac. I had both versions of Teams simultaneously installed (old and new).
In order to get notification sounds on New Teams, I had to go into Mac's System Preferences > Notifications & Focus AND THEN disable notifications for Old Teams. Only then would New Teams play notification sounds.
Not sure if that will work for anyone else, but if you have both versions installed, it's worth a shot. Good luck!
Yes, super frustrating! I don’t want the banner because it’s so obtrusive, but now I don’t get sound!
The old teams would allow to select notification in Feed and then the sounds would still play. But the New teams only has option for banner or OFF...so I assume if you say Off then the sound notifications are turned off too. This is so frustrating.
I have the same issue. Just stopped notifying me all of a sudden. I don't even get notifications on my iphone Teams. Nothing !
