Hi,
I have recently my Teams on Mac to new version "23285.3809.2525.961". Since the update, I am not getting any chat notification sound at all. I have checked all the relevent setting on micorosoft teams as well as in notification centre on Mac but no luck. Can anyone please help?

It was having focus mode on for me as well. I turned it off and issue was fixed right away. Thank you!
We had this issue on every mac. Teams would not play an alert sound when a chat is received from someone in Teams. All of the other settings mentioned were all set. The only addition that worked for us was this:
Once Play user interface sound effects was selected, sounds would come through when someone messages team members through Teams.
This was my problem!! Thank you. The NEW teams app sound was off (on my macbook notificaitons) but on on my Teams App settings.

I have same problem. I set true all of both system notification settings and teams notification settings after then restart, nothing fixed.
