No chat notification sound after updating Teams to new version 23285.3809.2525.961 on Mac

Hi,
I have recently my Teams on Mac to new version "23285.3809.2525.961". Since the update, I am not getting any chat notification sound at all. I have checked all the relevent setting on micorosoft teams as well as in notification centre on Mac but no luck. Can anyone please help?

    you can follow this steps, MacBook/Windows.

    1 Teams

    2 Settings

    3 Notification and activity

    4 @mention

    Channel and team @mentions - show in activity and banner

    Tag @mentions - show in activity and banner

    Everyone in chat @mentions - show in activity and banner

    Personal @mentions - show in activity and banner

    Replies to my channel posts and replies - show in activity and banner

    Likes and reactions - show in activity and banner

    Keep this same settings and check, might be fix issue.

    I'm having this problem for the first time after last update to Version 24137.2012.2930.9819. I've tried all the solutions in these pages but none of them works. Going back to old Teams, the sound plays correctly, but then after switching to new Teams they don't play. The only way to hear a sound is to set macOS alert sound, but I want to hear Teams one in order to distinguish Teams notifications and others (telegram, whatsapp etc.)

    I had same problem with new version, In System settings -> sound setting under "Play sound effects through" - some other device was selected instead of Macbook Pro speakers. After changing it to MacBook speakers it's working. Not sure how this was not causing the issue with old teams

    I had same problem with new version and looks like in System sound setting under "Play sound effects through" - "Crestron audio" is selected. I don't know how and why it was not causing problem with old version but i selected my Macbook pro speakers there and it starts working..

    This helped me resolve. Checking the "Play sound effects through" under sound setting. On choosing MacBook pro speakers it starts working
