ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

I have the same issue - and I have had a similar issue in other MS apps like outlook and word where ctrl+arrow stops working when I have accidentally turned on the 'screen reader' or narrator or whatever it is called using a keyboard shortcut. But i cannot find whether narrator exists for teams or how to turn it on or off.
In any event, the "answer" at the top of this thread is terrible - unclear, too complex for a normal user, and if this is the result of a feature providing unexpected unwanted outcomes rather than a bug, this needs to be resolved as clearly it is causing more problems than solving!
I guess if you have this problem keep reporting and commenting so it stays as high as possible on MS's monitored questions
Hello
I would like to know how this issue can be reported as bug. What you describe are work arounds and not a solution.
Best regards
Héctor Bernal
Same problem here; incredibly annoying!
Maybe twitter?
