ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

I thought it was just me...and here are 23 pages worth of "same issue here" messages.
It's been months and people are still posting so I assume there is no real fix in these 23 pages other than restarting the app?
Yup, there is a workaround. Open any menu that has three dots "..." on it, then press [Escape].
It helps, but it should not be like that.
Almost one year later, over 100 thousand views and almost 1500 "have the same question" the problem persists.
Same problem was reported again in different places (e.g. here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/leftright-keys-not-working-in-teams/c9ab318d-6272-42fb-bd4f-6f0e627e4b48)
Would Microsoft consider fixing this issue anytime at all?
checking the Disabling Hardware Acceleration option in the General Settings area worked for me (need to Quit and restart Teams afterwards for it to work).
