Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

I have been experiencing this daily and while closing Teams from the systems tray and re-launching it works, it's a really annoying bug. Haven't tried to clear the cache yet, but will be trying that for a more permanent fix. I am going to rename %AppData%\Microsoft\Teams\Cache to Cache.old and try that out for a few days.

Update: Closing Teams completely out and clearing the cache seemed to work. I will update if it happens again.

Having the same problem. Found out that if I open the chat in a new window, the arrows start working again.

Hi Sergio, thanks for the solutions. Restarting the app and if that fails restarting my computer works, but as others said can be quite time consuming especially when it happens multiple times a day. If the issue could be addressed permanently through an update at some point, it'd be much appreciated. I've noticed it happens with my Logitech k860 on multiple Windows 10 Pro machines; but not with keyboards such as the Surface Pro Type Cover. And only occurs with Microsoft Teams.
