I have the same issue. Restarting the app doesn't help.

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

This happens to me too and it is ONLY Teams Chat that the left/Right arrow keys fail to work. This tells me its a problem with Teams and not my keyboard. Up/Down arrows work fine. Since there have been numerous posts on this I'd say its definitely a bug.
In case it matters I'm using a mechanical keyboard, a Razor black Widow Ultimate
I am having the same issue. When I start typing a message when need to browse with the left arrow, the keyboard stops responding. It happens with a wireless keyboard or onboard keyboard doesn't metter.
But it is very annoying, in the middle of a discussion with your manager, you are hardly answering something remotely.
Probably same issue here, Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) the arrows work initially but soon stop working, doesn't need cache refresh to cure it, just "pkill teams" and it will then work again, for a while....
+1 Same issue, happens at least once a day.
