Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

Open Task Manager and look at Processes, then Background Processes. When this happens to me, there are usually several Background Processes. I kill them one by one, starting with the lowest memory use. The screen refreshes, each time and eventually all is well. Until the next time.

I remember connecting with a user, they shared their desktop and we quit. Then restarted after only a minute or so, as they were still showing as busy from the last connection. It was after that I noticed it.

It's a Microsoft issue, and they need to own it.

A new wrinkle: left and right stopped, then came back. But now ctrl-a doesn't register

    Me too, same issue.

When it started, I feel like I managed to hit a combination of keys when I hit the left arrow, such as left arrow + control, or left arrow + shift.

How do you fix typos, pretty much that's the reason most of us need the left keys.
