Conversations involving multiple participants, allowing collaboration and information sharing in Teams
In case it helps anyone, I noticed that you can click ctr+arrow keys and at least move back and forth via whole words.

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

It's not possible to restart the computer each time it fails.
When we can expect a fix for it from microsoft?
I can confirm I'm experiencing the exact same issue where arrow keys dont work when moving on chat messages. As other people reported, arrow keys work fine in other apps and even work in the Teams Search field at the top or Teams Channels but not in Chats. Also noticed that popping out the chat into a separate window then they do work, that's clearly a bug in Teams.
JavierVasq,
Try closing Teams by right clicking on the bottom taskbar to close. I first closed Team by clicking the upper right of the window, but it didn't fit the problem. But then when I closed by right clicking the task bar to close it, it worked when I opened the Teams program again.
Microsoft...please fix this, it is very annoying!
This happens any time I use the up arrow key to edit a message. Exit/quitting teams fixes the issue but it will happen again each time I edit a message. I am on Mac and this recently started happening when I noticed the new edit message layout got released.
