Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

I have exactly the same issue with Airpods not working with Teams meetings. Please fix this! It's inconceivable that this issue has existed for so long.

Come on, Microsoft. This is mind blowing even for you. You could have fixed this in a day if you wanted to. You're not discouraging people from using AirPods, but rather turning them into even stronger Apple brand evangelists. I can't wait for the day my work decides to dump the suite of lousy Microsoft products.

    I have the same problem.

However, Teams running on the iPhone works perfectly.  So it's definitely a Teams / Windows 10 issue.

I cannot understand why MS Teams would not support Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro.

    what is wrong with them?

is there a list somewhere of what devices are approved and working?

why wouldn't they, since they are bluetooth?

up top of that, why does teams require a separate ok for working from the Microsoft Windows connection? if that is to account for other OS, then you would think it would be working for AirPods, already.....

the fact that that information is 'hidden' is even worse...
