Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

At this time there is no workaround. Our engineers are working with Apple developers to find fixes for these issues. I understand this inconvenince totally, please wait for the updates in the future.

    Sincerely,

    Shawn

Shawn: this answer is OVER A YEAR OLD After that amount of time, and the popularity of Apple AirPods, are you saying your engineers still haven't figured this out? This is extremely tone-deaf on Microsoft's part, which is something I'm sadly getting used to.

Shawn: please explain why this is taking so long. You did not address this. After this amount of time, I am beginning to believe that there never will be a fix.

Here's what I have figured so far from the past year.

-Moved from Catalina to Big Sur and now to Monterey.

-Did a forget AirPods Pro from the bluetooth in system preferences

    -Re-"pair" your air pods pro

So far this has worked for me and the AirPods Pro is no longer cutting out of Teams.

as an information my Airpod pro are now working well with Teams since I changed for a more recent computer.

This was not the case on my previous computer in December... but I have not noted what are the exact differences.
for information I am now using Teams version is 1.4.00.35564 (32 bits) with Windows 10 Entreprise 20H2

    and configuration of my computer is 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1145G7 @ 2.60GHz 2.61 GHz

I should not be the only one having this problem solved, I just wanted to share with you.
