Hi Cindy. I am not having any problems. Fingers crossed.
Maybe removing the pairing and adding it again might help?

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings. I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service. I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.
Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams. People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them. I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.
Thanks.

Hi Shawn,
Is there any update on when this compatibility issue will be resolved? It's been almost 15 months since your initial reply and this issue is still ongoing. Having to manually go into the advanced sound controls for every single call is very annoying and for such a widely used model of headphones this seems like an issue that shouldn't exist.
Cheers,
Nick
Issue with Airpods and Teams (windows 10). Sound works, Mic doesn't....
I have to do this A LOT! It will work for maybe one call/meeting, and then it stops working.
Ive just had the same ussue but managed to solve it doing the following...
Make sure your airpods are connected to your mac
On your teams call press the ... then device settings
then select your airpods as the audio device for speaker and microphone :)
it works !!
