Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

Update - I am not sure whether it is the latest set of Windows 10 updates or something teams but airpods pro now work fine with teams and webex.  On your windows 10 bluetooth settings forget the airpods and re-pair them and you should be able to the select the headset airpods for both audio and microphone.  I am now a very happy customer again.

I can confirm that it works for me now too. However, the quality is worse than using only the audio for the airpods and the computer microphone.

I'm sticking with that setup, which I've outlined on page 19 of this thread.

Hi I have Apple Airpods  which I'm using with Teams. I am able to use them however the volume default is always 100 and I have to alter the volume manually  with every call. Extremely frustrating. Please advise on how I can set this.

    Regards

    simon

My Gen 2 AirPods were working fine, both mic and speaker, with Teams until I updated my MacBook Pro to the newest macOS Big Sur. Now they aren't working with Teams at all. That's a big bummer. When will there be a fix for this?

We recently had a customer request that we check if our MightyMic Pro wireless Bluetooth adapter would work with MS Teams. We paired it to a Windows laptop with built-in Bluetooth and and iPad using a Bluetooth pairing and it both cases the internal microphone was replaced by our Bluetooth microphone. However in order to hear the other people on the meeting you would need to plug a set of regular headphones with a 3.5mm plug into the MightyMic Pro while it is paired. Currently we do not know of a way to use the Bluetooth microphone and the internal speakers at the same time. It is either internal microphone and speakers or Bluetooth microphone and headphones. Hope that gives you another option.

    Dear Sirs,

Your answer does not help at all. Instead of solving the problem you "suggest" we buy another pair of headphones, one it is not from your main competitor, of course.

    Regards,
