Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

I'm getting the exact same issue as well. I have a small workaround: if you're in your bluetooth devices in settings, I disconnect and reconnect the airpods a couple of times whilst in a call and it eventually connects after a couple of times, but with low quality audio rather than the high quality stereo sound. It's also a bit loud but gets me by. Please fix this Microsoft. I think Teams is a great app and having airpods working with them would be great.

When I use this configuration, the image and the audio freeze for some seconds very often. I noticed that during this hiccups the Fan RPM goes to max like the CPU was 100% busy.

Cmon Microsoft - this is a ridiculous situation - you are really dragging your feet - first we had to wait for more than four users displayed and now we cant connect airpods successfully - i can see this was reported more than six months ago - very poor response.

Thank you Justin - seems to be working though I need to speak very much closer to my notebook :)

Anyway appreciate this workaround, it's helpful! Still we need to have the permanent fix!

Not as ideal as getting full compatibility, however check your laptop is set to conference in the settings ratter than your voice input only. Thatvway it picks up sound if you dont speak directly to it
