Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

My Airpods work with the Teams App that I downloaded onto my iPhone7plus (iOS 12.4.1) but they DO NOT work on the Teams app installed on my Window 10 laptop (same problem as others have described: microphone works, others can hear me but I can't hear them).

I also want to chime in that MS teams needs to use airpods, this is crazy you don't support it! I have teams on my phone but my airpods won't use it and my laptop I cannot use airpods.

Amy - i feel your pain. I have tried to explain in my previous comments what you and the thousands of other uses face.

I have reached out to the Apple community to try and highlight the amount of users this is impacting.

Just an acknowlegement and a statement from either Microsoft or Apple would at least be something.

    we wait...

    To summarise:-

    ....

and still no clear indication of where the issue lies or a plan to fix between either apple or microsoft.

I work at a school and am having this issue. I am super bummed because I got airpods partially to use for work as I find they are less distracting visually. I would love for this to be fixed.
