Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

I've been using my AirPods Pro for 8 weeks seamlessly on Teams on iMac Mac OS and HP laptop Win10 - today my AirPods no longer function normally on Team ...  it doesn't recognise the "Headset" capability

The biggest surprise to me was when I tried my son’s Huawei pods and worked seamlessly with trams whereas the airpods did NOT !!!!!!!

I have the same issue with my work Windows 10 laptop(Lenovo).  Received my Airpods today, paired them via bluetooth, performed test call via the Teams settings and could not hear anything, but my voice was working! :-(

I also have a Macbook Pro running High Sierra with Teams installed and the Airpods work flawlessly! No surprise there then :-)

UPDATE 15/05:  I have decided to send my Airpods back until this is fixed.

unfortunately I faced the same issue today :(

but I think my problem is a bit different … as I was hearing people but they didn't hear me … so I guess my speakers were working however microphone was not. this was from my laptop hence decided to change to my iPhone … while using Teams on my iPhone the airpods kept disconnected after every few seconds :(((

My wife and I both bought Apple Airpod Pros and we both have HP laptops. Mine is a work laptop that is regulated by my company and her laptop is our own personal laptop. I have not been able to use my Airpods with Teams or Skype except for about 10 minutes with Teams and the call quality was great but then it went back to the usual "they could hear me but I couldn't hear them" function. My wife on the other hand, has not had any problems connecting her Airpods with teams, Skype, or Zoom. I also have a coworker that uses his regular Airpods with Skype and Teams with the same work laptop that I am using and he has no problems. I don't see how some work fine and some do not.
