Please add my name to get this fixed. I am using Teams, on a Surface, and want to use my AirPod Pros. But I cannot hear what anyone is saying. Real problem.

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings. I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service. I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.
Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams. People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them. I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.
Thanks.

Hi All,
I found the following workaround that I have been using for a few weeks now with my AirPods Pro:
a. You should still see an "AirPods (Pro) Hands-Free AG Audio" or similar device listed here
After that change, my AirPods Pro work perfectly as a headset with MS Teams so long as I ensure that the Bluetooth is connected to the laptop each time I go to use it. For some reason it occasionally says it's connected but sound comes through the laptop so I Disconnect and Connect the AirPods via Bluetooth settings again.
Also, in a interesting irony, on the Bluetooth page it displays "Driver Error" after the change noted above, but it continues to work as a headset even after restarting the laptop.
Note that on this particular laptop, I am only using my AirPods as a headset. If you want to listen to music, you may need to toggle the Device Manager "AirPods Stereo" setting back on.
Good luck everyone!
I have found a similar issue with the Bose 700 headphones.
So that leads me to believe it is more along the lines of MS issues, or handoffs between TEAMS and Windows 10.
Someone in the stream mentioned if they (within teams) told it to use the laptop mic, then it all worked? Haven’t had the opportunity to try that yet, but the mic within laptops is not very good quality.
It seems that Adobe connect works well with these as long as you have VPN off. But that didn’t help with Teams wireless audio.
Hi thanks for the response i have set this up and had limited success with it dropping as expereinced by the other user posting, the hassle of it instead of addressing the underlying technogly for all. I am actaully okay with a microsoft statement saying it will never be addressed just an answer one way or another. It must be one of the most frequently asked questions.
Hi thanks for the post - the reason it drops in and out relates to the codec and switching of the voice across the application. Just need microsoft to cater and address that in their next windows 10 update. It all works fine with apple propriatary hardware. Just looking for a statement that will say it will neve work !
