Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

    To summarise:-

    ....

and still no clear indication of where the issue lies or a plan to fix between either apple or microsoft.

Amy - i feel your pain. I have tried to explain in my previous comments what you and the thousands of other uses face.

I have reached out to the Apple community to try and highlight the amount of users this is impacting.

Just an acknowlegement and a statement from either Microsoft or Apple would at least be something.

    we wait...

I also want to chime in that MS teams needs to use airpods, this is crazy you don't support it! I have teams on my phone but my airpods won't use it and my laptop I cannot use airpods.

My Airpods work with the Teams App that I downloaded onto my iPhone7plus (iOS 12.4.1) but they DO NOT work on the Teams app installed on my Window 10 laptop (same problem as others have described: microphone works, others can hear me but I can't hear them).

This is a great detail and consistent to what I've experienced on the last months

The problem that I see is between the switch of profiles, and mainly regarding the microphone. But not only that, but also switching from headset and audio/listen to music only.

The question that makes me think this is a Teams issue, is that everything else works.

I may be listening to music, a call enters and I can take the call on the same Airpods not changing a thing -> I notice that the bluetooth profile changes because the sound changes tone.

As soon as I enter a Teams, the Airpods begin to cut and after a while, or if it's a call with several persons (I don't know if it's due to different channels or due to more bandwidth being used) it cut off completely and they loose bluetooth connection

It goes until all of the bluetooth (mouse also) crashes.

I thought it was a Macbook problem. But on another computer, on Windows 10 and HP Elitebook, the behavior is similar
