Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings. I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service. I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.
Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams. People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them. I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.
Thanks.

I tried taking the pods out of the case prior to start of Team call. It did not work for me :-(
I just want to add to the stream of frustrated AirPod Teams users. This is a really poor show Microsoft im very disappointed. I realised pretty soon that the only way AirPods are going to work is if they are out of the case before starting the meeting. If you are already at the pre join screen before opening the case you are already too late. In my case if I open the case too late teams will crash completely forget any device and leave me with no sound no mic and no camera and no ability to set one. It doesn’t matter how many times I restart teams I can’t add a device. The only thing that works is restarting my whole laptop. It’s so frustrating and a giant waste of time.
FYI, I'm on the Windows 11 Beta and AirPod Pro's and Teams seem to be working together just fine when paired.
I use teams 2 or 3 times a day: no problems working with MacBook Pro MacOS 10.15.7 and Airpods. However, in iOS 14.7.1 there is no option to choose air pods: only ‘Speaker’ or ‘iPhone’ which only allows you to plug in headphones into the ‘Lightning’ charge slot. Webex and Zoom give full functionality on iOS to choose AirPods, as does the Google Meet app. So whatever Microsoft is doing in the lab doesn’t work in the MAC world. The AirPods only work with an inbound Teams Call. NOT when joining a meeting. Screenshots of Teams. Webex, Zoom and Meet settings. So ostensibly, all the same except Teams is unable to take over the AirPods. Go figure.
